The ICM7170 Real Time Clock is a Microprocessor bus Compatible peripheral, fabricated using Intersil’s silicon gate CMOS LSl process. An 8-bit bidirectional bus is used for the data I/O circuitry. The Clock is set or read by accessing the 8 internal separately addressable and programmable counters from 1/100 seconds to years. The counters are controlled by a pulse train divided down from a crystal oscillator circuit, and the frequency of the crystal is selectable with the on-chip command register. An extremely stable oscillator frequency is achieved through the use of an on-chip regulated power supply.

The NJU6350 is a serial I/O Real Time Clock suitable for 4 bits micro-processor.
It contains quartz crystal oscillator, counter, shift register, voltage regulator, voltage detector, and interface controller.
The NJU6350 required only 3-port of Microprocessor for data transfer, and the Microprocessor can receive the data at any Time when the Microprocessor requires.

General Description
The DS1346/DS1347 SPI™-Compatible Real-Time Clocks (RTCs) contain a Real-Time Clock/calendar and 31 x 8 bits of static random-access memory (SRAM). The Real Time Clock/calendar provides seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, year, and century information. A Time/date programmable polled ALARM is included in the devices.
