These devices are designed to limit overvoltages on the telephone and data lines. Overvoltages are normally caused by a.c. power system or lightning flash disturbances which are induced or conducted on to the telephone line. A single device provides 2-point protection and is typically used for the protection of ISDN power supply feeds. Two devices, one for the Ring output and the other for the Tip output, will provide protection for single supply analogue SLICs. A combination of three devices will give a low capacitance protector network for the 3-point protection of ISDN lines.

Description
The TPS735-Q1 family of low-dropout (LDO), low power linear regulators offers excellent ac performance with very low ground current. High power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR), low noise, fast start-up, and excellent line and load transient responses are provided while consuming a very low 46 μA (typical) ground current.
The TPS735-Q1 family of devices is stable with ceramic capacitors and uses an advanced BiCMOS fabrication process to yield a typical dropout voltage of 280 mV at 500-mA output. The TPS735-Q1 family of devices uses a precision voltage reference and feedback loop to achieve overall accuracy of 2% (VOUT > 2.2 V) over all load, line, process, and temperature variations. This family of devices is fully specified from TA = –40°C to 125°C and is offered in a low-profile, 3-mm × 3-mm SON package.

Description
The TVP5150AM1 device is an ultralow-power NTSC/PAL/SECAM video decoder. Available in a space-saving 48-terminal PBGA package or a 32-terminal TQFP package, the TVP5150AM1 decoder converts NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video signals to 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 format. Discrete syncs are also available. The optimized architecture of the TVP5150AM1 decoder allows for ultralow power consumption.
