3 - In the UPLINK MODE (figure 4a), the received CW carrier (F0) is multiplied with the modulation

signal (Fm) coming from MOD input. In fact, if ETSI CEN TC278 recommendation is applied, the

modulation is around the sub-carrier Fm. The resulting reflected signal is a transposition of Fm around the

carrier F0 (F0 ± Fm) .
