11.1 Software Identification of the COM20022I 3V Rev B and Rev C
In order to properly write software to work with the COM20022I 3V Rev B and C it is necessary to be able to identify the
different revisions of the part.
To identify the COM20022I 3V Revision follow the following procedure:
1. Write 0x00 to Register-5
2. Read Register-5 Æ The value read from Register-5 must be 0x00.
3. Write 0xC0 to Register-5
4. Read Register-5*
* If the value read from Register-5 is 0x80 then the part is a COM20022I 3V Rev B
* If the value read from Register-5 is 0xC0 then the part is a COM20022I 3V Rev C
