The LM111, LM211, LM311 are voltage comparators that have low input currents.
They are also designed to operate over a wide range of supply voltages: from standard ±15V operational amplifier supplies down to the single +5V supply used for IC logic.
Their output is compatible with RTL-DTL and TTL as well as MOS circuits and can switch voltages up to +50V at output currents as high as 50mA.

Highly Flexible Voltage Comparators

The ability to operate from a single power supply of 5.0 V to 30 V or ±15 V split supplies, as commonly used with operational amplifiers, makes the LM211/LM311 a truly versatile comparator. Moreover, the inputs of the device can be isolated from system ground while the output can drive loads referenced either to ground, the VCC or the VEE supply. This flexibility makes it possible to drive DTL, RTL, TTL, or MOS logic. The output can also switch voltages to 50 V at currents to 50 mA. Thus the LM211/LM311 can be used to drive relays, lamps or solenoids.

The LM118, LM218, and LM318 are precision, fast operational amplifiers designed for applications requiring wide bandwidth and high slew rate. They feature a factor-of-ten increase in speed over general-purpose devices without sacrificing dc performance.
These operational amplifiers have internal unity-gain frequency compensation. This considerably simplifies their application because no external components are necessary for operation. However, unlike most internally compensated amplifiers, external frequency compensation may be added for optimum performance. For inverting applications, feed-forward compensation boosts the slew rate to over 150 V/µs and almost double the bandwidth. Overcompensation can be used with the amplifier for greater stability when maximum bandwidth is not needed. Further, a single capacitor can be added to reduce the settling time for 0.1% error band to under 1 µs.
The high speed and fast settling time of these operational amplifiers make them useful in A/D converters, oscillators, active filters, sample-and-hold circuits, and general-purpose amplifiers.

The LM111 series are voltage comparators that have input currents approximately a hundred times lower than devices like the µA710. They are designed to operate over a wider range of supply voltages; from standard ±15 V op amp supplies down to a single 3 V supply.
Their output is compatible with RTL, DTL, and TTL as well as MOS circuits. Further, they can drive lamps or relays, switching voltages up to 50 V at currents as high as 50mA.
Both the inputs and the outputs of the LM111 series can be isolated from system ground, and the output can drive loads referred to ground, the positive supply, or the negative supply. Offset balancing and strobe capability are provided and outputs can be wire-ORed. Although slower than the µA710 (200 ns response time versus 40 ns), the devices are also much less prone to spurious oscillations. The LM111 series has the same pin configuration as the µA710 series.

General Description
The LM110 series are monolithic operational amplifiers in ternally connected as unity-gain non-inverting amplifiers. They use super-gain transistors in the input stage to get low bias current without sacrificing speed. Directly interchange able with 101, 741 and 709 in voltage follower applications, these devices have internal frequency compensation and provision for offset balancing.
The LM110 series are useful in fast sample and hold circuits, active filters, or as general-purpose buffers. Further, the frequency response is sufficiently better than standard IC amplifiers that the followers can be included in the feedback loop without introducing instability. They are plug-in replacements for the LM102 series voltage followers, offering lower offset voltage, drift, bias current and noise in addition to higher speed and wider operating voltage range.
The LM110 is specified over a temperature range -55°C ≤ TA +125°C ≤, the LM210 from -25°C ≤ TA +85≤C and the LM310 from 0°C ≤ TA s +70°C
