GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The OZ9904 is a LED driver controller optimized for large screen LED backlight
LCD TV applications. It provides an integrated four-channel LED current control
circuit. In application, it controls external balance transistors to maintain the cur-
rent balance among LED strings.
OZ9904 supports both internal and external Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
dimming methods for brightness control of LCDs for various system applica-
tions. The internal PWM dimming signal can also be synchronized with the verti-
cal sync signal of the LCD display.
The IC further supports an analog dimming control function, which adjusts the
LED current amplitude of all the four ISEN channels simultaneously.
