Path Error (Deviation)
PError
0.5
% Path Error (Deviation) is the error from the ideal cursor path.
It is expressed as a percentage of total travel and is measured
over standard surfaces.
The following graphs (Figures 14-18) are the typical per-
formance of the ADNS-2610 sensor, assembled as shown
in the 2D assembly drawing with the HDNS‑2100 Lens/
Prism, the HDNS-2200 clip, and the HLMP-ED80-XX000
(See Figure 4).

Notes:
1. The ADNS-2610 is designed for optimal
performance when used with the HLMP-
ED80-XX000 (red LED 639 nm). For use with
other LED colors (i.e., blue, green), please
consult factory. When using alternate LEDs,
there may also be performance degradation
and additional eye safety considerations.
2. Z = Distance from Lens Reference plane to
Surface.
3. DOF = Depth of Field.
