This register can be used to ensure that the
1000 0100
software writes a specific value to this register,
before being able to modify any other register in the 1000 0101
device. Three modes of protection are offered,
(i) protected,
1000 0110
(ii) fully unprotected,
(iii) single unprotected.
1000 0111 –
When protected, no other register in the device can 1111 1111
be written to. When fully unprotected, any writeable
register in the device can be written to. When single
unprotected, only one register can be written before
the device automatically re-protects itself.
Note...This register cannot be protected.
