7.11 The serial in function
The serial in function takes serial data from the block decoder and passes the data on to the encoder. It supports the I2S
and Sony 3-wire serial interfaces (DATAI, BCLK and WCLK). The block is slave to the interface and therefore the BCLK
and WCLK signals are generated externally and are the same signals as the serial data output interface. The selection
of the input format follows the output interface setting.

These 4 bits are reserved.
ScramOn This bit enables/disables the scrambling function. If ScramOn = 1, then the
scrambling function is enabled.
Scrambling must be off for CD-DA and on for CD-ROM. However, if the buffer
manager (block decoder) already scrambles the CD-ROM data, then the user must
switch scrambling off in the CDR60.
