Electrical characteristics
3 This capacitance value is driven by the constraints of the external voltage regulator supplying the VDD_BV voltage.
A typical value is in the range of 470 nF.
4 In case external ballast resistor is planned to be used, then to avoid a LVD reset during standby mode exit, the
following configuration need to be respected.
- for 8 ohm ballast resistor, decoupling cap of 33 µf is required.
- for 4 ohm ballast resistor, decoupling cap of 14.7µf is required.
These values are only after preliminary validation and are subject to change.
5 External regulator and capacitance circuitry must be capable of providing IDD_BV while maintaining supply VDD_BV
in operating range.
6 In-rush current is seen only for short time during power-up and on standby exit (max 20µs, depending on external
capacitances to be load)
